I don't like it when politicians of any party add pork to a bill. The fact that he's majority leader in the senate makes it worse. The difference between you and I Slick are that I call 'em a douche as I see 'em. There are lots of douches in the GOP. Not to mention that many more in the Dem party.

go back and educate yourself as to how Legislation works. Adding riders to bills that have to be voted on soon is pretty common. It will take a majority to get the amendment attached, so whether he succeeds or not is clearly not a given. But still, to express some sort of shock about unrelated items getting attached to a bill(and actually, 'don't ask' is related, and the immigration rider involves military service) is beyond ignorant.

I'm sure that people might take into consideration some of the things you say if you weren't such a hypocrite. How much free money are you taking because the government pays you not to grow crops? I love how you insinuate that you're financially well off but you're taking handouts from the gubmint. If it was me, I'd feel like a tool for doing that. I've never even taken unemployment cuz I believe that there's nothing wrong with a hard days work. Then again I have higher standards set for myself. I respect myself. So sorry about you though.
