"From an Informed Source": It seems that Slick has given up guessing politics in the Pilots Lounge, in exchange for the guessing football games in the sports section. He seems to be doing better there....
Old Pudfark sez: " Word, Slick, flip a coin....improve yer odds...Good Luck "

Slick always loved it when sweaty men roughed each other up. Good thing it's in the guise of a sport or someone would think he was a closet queen. Thing is, sports fans don't jack off to the men during the game. So in essence Slick is indeed a closet queen.

oh, as if anyone needed more confirmation of the Rube's clueless n00b status, most folks know that Res and I have been playing this game for a few years. At one time, a whole bunch of us did, and in fact, the football pick thing spanned over a couple of forums for a year or two. Oh, and Ruggie, the interior decorator? He's just more than a little insecure with his manhood. Most regulars are used to that, as well.

Laugh all you want, son. Hate me cuz I have good taste and people will pay me several hundred an hour for my opinion. The same can't be said for you. Not to mention how I think it's funny as hell that you seem to think your more manly cuz you sit and watch sports. I watch the military channel, it doesn't make me a Ranger.

I remember the pics you put up of that theater you did.
Whatever you got paid, you were overpaid.
It looked like an Italian flop house from 1935.

Couldn't be all bad if it was Italian.
Flop house has it's good points too.
I'll give it a C+.

I gave them a 25% discount if I did the rest of the house. And that's
exactly what they wanted the theatre to look like. The theatre bar/lounge has a stripper pole in it and it's got leopard print fabric on the booths. The whole house is a theme house. The master bedroom is a scene from Gladiator. Their entry to the home is a scene from The Matrix. They have a room called the Za-Za room which is red shag carpet, red and black leather this and that with black lace stencil treatment on bright red walls.
As for taste, everything is subjective. As is your assessment that I got overpaid. Fact of the matter is I'm an artist and if you look at my website you'll see proof of that whether I'm doing Faux or true fine art. While you may not like their taste I created exactly what they wanted and was paid handsomely for it. I love how looky-loo's like you comment on someone elses work not knowing a damn thing about what goes into it. I promise you that you couldn't have worked a week and a half with both hands over your head all day like I and my crew did. One of the guys helping me loved to brag what great shape he was in, so I let him spray the primer on the ceiling. After 10 minutes he handed me back the gun and was shocked at how much his forearms and shoulders hurt. There's a shitload of physical labor that goes into a ceiling like that and if I had you for one day the work would kill you.
I also pay my guys more than what is prevailing union wage. Because they're good at what they do, they don't complain and they're professional. In essence, they're worth what I was "overpaid" as well. Fact of the matter is I'm top of the food chain in my profession and even though I don't do my paintings full time my work is in demand. The last two paintings I sold there was a bidding war. I made more money per hour that I worked on those paintings than most high priced lawyers do. Cuz I'm that good.
