10 down 3 to go!

Post by oFZo »

I just passed my third motorcycle exam (you have to do three different exams), the tenth category I can add to my driver's license! 8-)

Wasn't it England where you have to have a bicycle license, to ride a bicycle?

In Canada, it's probably against the law to walk and chew gum..... :)

Touringcar, Touringcar with trailer and (agricultural) tractor.
If I'd pass the test(s) for touringcar I'd get the trailer for free (already have the one for semis) and for
the tractor one there isn't an official test yet.

You can drive a semi, but you're not allowed to drive a tractor!

Sounds pretty silly. How much does each test cost? That makes me think why there are so many tests. Just another way to tax you to have fun.

I've got a Class A CDL ( commercial driver's license ) with every endorsement, triples, doubles, air brake, tanker, Haz-mat, and passenger, as well as motorcycle. No engine size or HP limitations on motorcycles over here. Hell, if a bike had air brakes and could carry 16 passengers I could legally drive it for hire.

I've also got a private pilot SEL, ( single engine, land).

And I'm really proud of my forklift license.

probably a dumbass misread on my part, but is motorcycle licensure included in your CDL?

do they offer one without the landing option?

as well you should be....anyone who is really good at operating those things is a blast to watch in action.
There's an art there, someplace.
