China won't let it happen. China has the fastest growing economy in the world and everybody owes them money. They're not about to throw all that into the shitter just for that silly little peninsula.
The North is trying to look tough before it's upcoming transition of power...but if they start to take it too far, mother China will bitch smack them and have them go stand in the corner.
