quoted from the article:
"Whatever your opinion about Julian Assange, he did a real service to our nation and the world in revealing, in particular, the dangerous internal workings of the corrupt Obama foreign-policy establishment. And if Assange and WikiLeaks, who serve as media watchdogs in effect, are silenced by the "mullah in chief" Barack Hussein Obama, Czarina Hillary Clinton and the rest of their sympathetic establishment political hacks, who is next; Fox News?"

it's amazing how similar this crazy rightwing fuck's writings are to the loony leftwing types I read elsewhere.
example, from the online journal Commonsense2:

"The importance of the WikiLeaks records cannot be disputed. However, we have known about many of the crimes for years. We knew they were lying and we knew they were torturing. And if we little peasants knew, so did our Congress, yet they did nothing to stop any of it. Rather, they kept (and still are) voting to fund the atrocities, lawless imprisonment and brutal occupations. Except for the few that can be counted on one hand, they should all be removed from office and tried for aiding and abetting crimes against humanity."

Change the topic to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and suddenly, Assange is a hero. I dunno.......one thing is for sure: I have increased confidence that Obama is the right man to lead this nation when either extreme goes ballistic, simultaneously, at him on such a regular basis.

Five minute pause for laughing...

Did that there confidence increase after the elections in November?

Perhaps, from the "victory" numbers on unemployment?

Maybe the large reduction in spending and national debt?

Could it be the New Federal Health Care Laws? oops, they haven't taken effect yet....

Oh yeah, almost forgot...."scratch" three somali pirates....that was a win? was it not?

Let's see..hmm...no more detainees at Gitmo....

Who can forget? No more drilling in the Gulf....

Who would like to forget? The Win-Win on the southern borders...

Not to mention the inflationary "printing" of more money and the current rising prices....

When you total up all the leadership positions he has held in the past? Them what can be verified?

"Increased confidence" describes a "snake oil salesman" and his favorite customer, an idiot named callmeslick....

Pud $ums it up.
slick=award for trollmaster

points for continually saying the most idiotic things possible

there are gigs of websites "what if bush had said/done this" insert dozens of things that Marxist said that were corrected with "what he meant", or flat out ignored
the only one laughing is Jimmy Carter, finally he's not the worse president in modern history.

back to wiki, I could give a flip who he hurts- if he was in the right, he'd be out in the open doing TV shows. THATS the barometer.

well, I agree with your general view about Wiki. Sorry you view the comment as a mere troll. I find it amusing that on this, and a host of other issues, the far right and far left are like mirrors in their view of Obama. I'll gladly vote for anyone who can piss both extremes off.

Freedom of the press is important - and while I despise what Wikileaks is doing - I think that the government is attacking this issue at the wrong level. The reality is that they should take action to stop the leaks from occurring in the first place. Unfortunately - doing this is directly contrary to Obama's liberal agenda. Now - I am not saying that he or anyone in his administration intentionally caused the leaks to occur. What I AM saying is that the policies and ideologies that this president has advanced create an environment ripe for this type of event.

The primary issue here is that the media and government are directly and intentionally diverting attention from the REAL culprit - US security policy and the military member who collected and released this information. PFC Bradley Manning should be brought up on treason and perhaps espionage charges - but they are afraid to do this because it will be harmful to the left's political agenda. You see - it is fairly clear that Manning is an overt homosexual who by some accounts was in a rage over the breakup of his relationship with his "drag queen" boyfriend when he collected and sent the information to Wikileaks. If the focus shifts to Manning the government will have to discuss how/why security clearance was granted to and maintained for an individual who's life history was filled with a pattern of rejecting norms and authority, who was disciplined including DEMOTION for erratic behavior including slapping a fellow soldier, who participated openly in internet circles as a homosexual activist, and who openly presented radical anti-war sentiments. WHY WAS A PERSON LIKE THIS LEFT IN A POSITION TO ACCESS SENSITIVE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION? WHY? Well - because removing him from that position would have been politically incorrect. Here is where the "rubber meets the road" folks. Political correctness resulted in the leaking of highly classified information, in the degradation of our ability to manage foreign relations, in our ability to pursue terrorists, and who knows what other impacts will result. All this - because the president does not want to offend a political constituency.
