In a video, Fred Phelps says God sent the shooter to avenge the nation's sins.
"Thank God for the violent shooter," Phelps proclaims.

I have no problem stringing up each and every one of the Westboro church members.
they are a dispicable group of in-bred human beings and deserve exactly what they get. their habits and teaching are contrary to Christ's in every way
but I do take satisfaction in these two verses which do apply to them and how they will be judged before God
Matthew 7
Judging Others
1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

this says that as a leader in the church we will be held to a higher standard of accountability for our actions and teaching before God

Westboro is the Christian part of radical religion. Radical in the manner of islamic Jihadists. I have an pretty good idea that most of us here are christians of some sort and speak openly about what kind of fecal matter comes out of Westboro. Now if we could just get muslims to do the same about the Jihadis.

They're coming to an area of the country with armed citizens who won't be happy to see them. The day after 9/11 someone shot a muslim in Arizona. Bad call on Westboro's part because there's some crazy feckers here.
