I would quibble with 30 grand being 'huge amounts of cash', but whenever you grant 'special powers' to any agency, this sort of thing should be expected. That so, oversight should be vigorous, but no one wants to pay for that expense, so here we are.......

You choose to "quibble" with just about everything that shows your party's choices in a bad light.

typical. We have a problem dating back over 10 years, and you choose to paint it as a problem of one political party. These are employees, not party officials. Further, the matter of oversight over TSA was brought up, more than once, during the last decade, in front of elected officials of both parties, and far too little money was allocated.
You see, Wullie, you are part of the problem our nation faces. Too many people ready to bring political axes to grind for no good reason. Thanks for helping to fuck up the nation, I'm sure your hard work will pay great dividends.

You're quite welcome. Thank you for pointing out that I actually have more "stroke" than I ever thought possible from my lowly position as blue collar working scum in your scheme of things.

I'M EMPOWERED!!!

SO, you're saying that this Present TSA airport debacle doesn't rest squarely on the shoulders of the present administration? OH SILLY ME!! HELL YEAH it MUST be GW's fault, rather than the idiotic Janet with the last name that resembles an ice cream multi flavor.

Silly me.

I'm also mildly impressed you didn't use "moron" anywhere in that post.

that's exactly what I'm saying, as the the crime in question extended to before this administration came into office, and, in fact, the investigation wasn't started until this administration.

I'm also mildly impressed you didn't use "moron" anywhere in that post.
I prefer it when you simply illustrate the word with your own knee-jerk partisan stupidity.

Arato also allowed another worker to steal up to $30,000 in cash from traveller’s bags over a 13-month period, pocketing a share of the ill gotten gains himself. The court heard that the pair specifically targeted foreign travelers, mostly Indian women, who could not speak English and discussed how they should not feel bad about stealing from them because they were leaving the U.S. with “our money”.
How long has his majesty been in office?? How long has the TSA been feeling up women and children?

Of course the investigations started under this regime, EVIL George has been out of work for two years.

Your reactions are the knee jerks from an affront to your sainted leader's administration.

MORON.

Sorry Slick, this administration is responsible. Whether you like it or not most Americans see it that way as well.
