Wisconsin Labor Protesters Refuse to Quit

MADISON, Wis. - Thousands of pro-labor protesters turned out for more demonstrations at the Wisconsin Capitol on Saturday, seemingly undeterred by the fact that a contentious collective bargaining bill had been signed into law the day before.

I agree with you, Pud. It is now the law in Wisconsin. If the voters have 'buyers remorse' we have a system in place to deal with it. I sense a massive backlash building as folks realize the true scope and intent of where the GOP is headed. Similar stuff here in PA......we elected a governor, whose campaign was financed heavily by the gas drillers. Now, he submits the budget, folks realize that education and other key services are being slashed, drilling expands to state park lands and no taxation on extracted gas. Now, the voters are real pissed off.....I've been asking all week, where were you when the campaign was being run? This was all so predictable. That's what frosts me about politics here. Folks let themselves get fucked over and then react to it.

If you feel that is the case, although I suspect you never voted for him in the first place, by all means act on it in 2012. Personally, I feel that anyone who blames Obama for the issues this nation faces is beyond stupid, they are as nutty as Grandma's fruitcake. Each to their own, of course. Have some fruitcake, Wullie.

so having a well-paid TSA staff, properly represented and fairly managed, thus attracting more competent staff over time, is a bad thing? Based on what I've seen in construction trades, I'll take Union help over the alternative any day. Right now, the competence level of TSA is low, how can this possibly hurt?

You're right, I did not vote for the Kenyan.

What you think of me doesn't matter in my book. The fact that a hippy fly tyer thinks I'm nuts is no big deal.

Ponder on this if you will.
We are down to 281 combat ships.

That is why we can't stop the Somali pirates or do evacuation ops anymore.

The Navy of Communist China is building up and catching up in technology. While ensuring we don't dare engage them because they hold most of our debt.

The Royal Navy is down to 28 ships!
They have given up on defending themselves.

But here is the kicker: Where did all the money not spent on defense go? Slick Willie called it the "peace dividend". I never got my dividend check by the way! Did you get one?

Heard this week new fed data says over 1 out of 3 Americans living entirely on handout $. Not working but getting money from state & federal agencies to live on. So we transferred the defense budget to the "war on poverty" and we are broke! The war on poverty is lost. Because no one reigns in that spending. We have 2nd & 3rd generations who have known nothing but handout money. I suppose the upside to that is that when EVERYBODY is broke, forward thinking socialist will be happy.

Greece hit 45% of people on the dole and it all collapsed. We are headed for that!

Our federal debt has skyrocketed to 14 trillion, because we can't even afford 35% of people not working but getting money for free.

Naw, the Kenyan didn't start the mess, but he appears to doing his best to finish the melt down.

Ever hear the expression that anarchy is only three missed meals away?
