Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.

if it ever happens. Personally, I don't think they really can get the stuff up without hydraulic fracturing, using water Israel doesn't have in abundance. At best, it will provide expensively-extracted oil which might come in handy when reserves drop enough to justify it. With any luck we will have moved on, as a planet, to something other than petroleum by that point.

Slick, did you even read the article? This will be up and runnung long before anything can replace oil in anyway close to what is needed.

Don't know, and the distance involved might add to the cost.

so, they say. I am saying that the cost will make it an economic nightmare until you are seeing $250 per bbl oil on the markets.Darkhorse wrote:Slick, did you even read the article? This will be up and runnung long before anything can replace oil in anyway close to what is needed.
Re: This will change a few things
Well Slick your wrong. After the pilot program is completed you will see Israel becoming one of the worlds leading oil producers.

I believe...I'll side with Darkhorse on this one....
Not trying to gouge you in the eye...with my booger finger...Slick...
and I know how you "feel" about renewables....and I do realize....
that might mess with the "master" plan....for global greening.....
However, it is economically far more doable....than everybody
going around shoving AA batteries up their hind end and marching
around like the "Energizer Bunny"......jes sayin......
