I don't trust Trump. I think he'd cut important programs to look good in paying our debt.

Look good? How about we remove "to look good" and re-think that answer? Cuz unfortunately that's what it will take. I say we DHS, BATF and other agencies that we don't need. That's a good start. And how about we stop giving aid to every country on the planet? Those are some cuts we can do and not feel them.
