No full autos, lisence to own a gun, permission to transport, limit on how many you can own, need to show a reason to own a gun no carry, etc

Norway's super tough laws worked good?

Worked for the mass murderer!

If guns are out lawed only outlaws will have guns. (no shit eh?).

I can't believe how stupid you are.

For that matter, I can't believe I bothered to respond to this retarded thread.

About an hour ago I was offered a (trucking) job in Norway.
15 times the size of Holland with less than a third of the inhabitants, I'm tempted.

I was going to type a lengthy reply about how multiple dead in two bomb blasts as well as 80+ dead in a summer camp are completely unrelated to any gun law whatsoever.

Then I realized that -in addition to being impious beyond belief- you are inconceivably stupid. Hence I concluded that such an effort would be a waste of life time. Mine to be precise. So I did not.

Saved me from posting something similar.

I live in a US State where we have the second highest per capita gun ownership in the US.
We also have amongst the lowest crime rates.
Why? (because we shoot back).
Just think, that asshole was enabled knowing that there would be no resistance.
No one except incompetent police. They took over 1.5 hours to respond!
Damn, like playing DOOM on God mode.
Tough gun laws are an open invitation to let the real loonies run amok.

This puts those smug European comments like "It could never happen here" to bed.
We gun toting Americans feel badly for those people who lost loved ones.
We only wish the people of Europe were truly free and could have defended themselves.

The way I see it Canada is ripe for the same thing.

The idiot potential in the above is very high. It must be nice to have your bullshit justified by the deaths of others, you prick. And you don't speak for "gun owning" Americans, I know a few whose first impulse was to post about the bereaved, not to score points. In fact, apart from you, on the forums and message boards I read, no one has used this tragedy as a pro gun ownership debate, or an anti gun law debate. Maybe because as responsible firearms owners they are just as sickened by it as the rest of us.

I don't know what kind of gun you tote, but I would never feel comfortable on a shooting range with people like you around, not out of fear, but more out of the potential for you shooting yourself in the ass like the clown you are, and spoiling a good day out for the rest of us.

for the record, New Hampshire has a low death rate ONLY because that reflects the fact that New Hampshire is much less densely settled than most of the US. The gun laws have nothing to do with it. Oh, and for those just discovering the fact, HH is a complete moron.
