I know one or two trout fly tyers who do their best work with roadkill. Now, eating the shit is another matter entirely........

I would not eat the smaller critters but a good Bumper Bambi
is every bit as good as one I shot. I have only taken
one that I saw get hit.
In NH we must have a deer tag and licence to remove the road kill.
