There isn't much cool stunt driving, there's just the amount what's needed for the story. Same with violence, not overly much, but it's serious business when happens.
I wouldn't expect great car chases, when going to see this movie.

its a remake of a movie starring Ryan O'Neil from the 70"s called "The Driver"

You can't really compare them as being in the same genre.
