That's what happens when Democrats take over the school system.

Well as much as this case is totally silly, there have been instance when I was a kid when some kid would come up with only a pack of crackers as lunch... in this case I think the school should take appropriate measures don't you think?

Agreed, some food is better than no food.

My kids sometimes share their packed lunches with other kids who have a packet of sweets and some crisps as a lunch. When I was at school the dinner ladies sometimes made up take away bags for the really poor kids ( on the fly because they were nice people and not as policy ). These kids only ate when they were at school as their parents were either poor or idiots or both.

Hell Yeah Rugg....Thank goodness for Democrats. Cuz they are the folks who legislate....that everybody is
to stupid to safely feck, to irresponsible to provide for themselves and too stupid to wipe their own butts, let alone, raise and care for their own children....

Lord forbid....some irresponsible parent, send their child off to school with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...sheesh...
