I wonder how much that TV show on prospecting has added to the 'uptick'?

Not a problem. My buddy has a bunch of claims he owns. That's where I do it.
Wannabee prospectors are as bad as wannabee hunters and fly fishers.

Quite a bit in my opinion. Two of my grandson's have dug up most of their backyard in Colorado....until, their Mom, my daughter, looked out the kitchen window...and saw only the tops of their heads

All of my prospecting is on creeks. Some big, and some small. All good producers.
All are marked private property. Those who have trespassed have regretted it.

Colorado does have some "strange" laws regarding water and property rights...
