Anatomically speaking...You can't against the Canadians,
what their government didn't neuter...they voluntarily did.
Just sayin' The French can get up and occasionally get it in.

The French have always had a armed presence in various places around Africa, particularly former colonies. It doesn't normally make the news - it is quite the surprise when you just run into them though, lol. As in, "WTF are you guys doing here...."

They had quite a few in Rwanda in the mid 90s as part of the multi-national military presence at the time. In Gabon some time later as I recall.

hard to find? It was on the front page of the NY Times World section, and likewise in the local NewsJournal, not to mention MSNBC, CNN etc, etc.
Still, I ask, what core interest is it to the French down that way? The colonial horse has long since left the barn, they aren't very dependant upon oil in France, so why risk one's troops? Also, Pud, you claim a vast superiority to the Canadians in the first post. Really? It seems to me that the Canadians have a long history of valiant service, when such service is truly necessary. They've had the US' back far more than once. Your claim makes no sense. Not surprising, I suppose, but really?

oh, but Res, dontcha know Pud is an expert on Canadian military prowess. He had a uncle who was stationed up in Canada with a bomber detachment. Never mind the the actual risk of retaliatory attacks was to the Canadian citizenry, he knows that you all weren't interested in defense or security.
