thats why folks, such as in Tucson, AZ, run a buyback program and DESTROY the guns collected. Too many loons about who will simply recycle them back into the hands of the mentally weak.

Buzz, what you fail to see is that Obama didn't do it. It was a REACTION to Obama, caused by an NRA and other such interests that got people riled up with ridiculous notions of fear. Which, when one considers that the NRA represents GUN MAKERS first and foremost, makes good business sense.

I understand, but it's his stand on gun control that made people panic. If Romney had got elected nobody would be worried. Especially, the NRA.

it was NOT his stand, which is very temperate and mild. It was the NRA using that knee-jerk Obama hate to gin up false fears in order to have their underwriters sell more guns. Big, big difference. Would Romney getting elected change that? Who knows how Romney would have reacted to the CT shootings? History doesn't stand still at any rate, Romney lost, and there we are.

It would seem like our government would have something better to do?
Like fix the economy.
Pay the debt.
Reduce entitlement spending.
You Dem's can't get it up or done.
So you "focus/fucus" attention on the more "important"
stuff like gun control and immigration. Not to mention,
going into the fifth year and no budget.
At the current pace (yer setting).....
Lead is gonna be more valuable than gold.
Sooner.....than ya "think".
Which gives me a dab of a tickle....?
Cuz, you're more interested in "regulating" lead.............than gold.
