The bird looks better without canards, Su35SM style.

That said the new russian grey camo looks horrendous, and that VVS ROSSIYA on the tail ridiculous.

Dunno 'bout Fulcrums, we're still flying the old F/A 18s.

The German Migs went to Poland after they were replaced by the Eurofighter Typhoon in 2003. That Su is beautiful - looks like they took their time building it.... not sure what they're trying to sell there though...

Looks and speed don't hack the requirement any more.
With the current technology...that could end up as a Christmas Turkey.

The past suggests it.
Though, it do have a cool factor.

Goodfellow AFB has a very nice Mig-29 static display.
I've seen it. I'd took some pictures, but cameras not allowed
on that facility.
