respect defined(Dag Hammerskold, 1954):
"He only deserves respect who every day justifies it"
oh, and Beck will NEVER reach that threshold....

For what reason?

because he's batshit crazy and dishonest as hell(essentially lost job with Fox for shilling a gold purchase exchange via exaggerated 'news' reporting).

I can see how many wouldn't agree with his perspective. But intentionally deceitful? I've watched him enough to know that's not the case. If you want a real example of 'shilling', watch some MSNBC.

sorry, Barfly, but Fox was close to being sued by all reports, and let him go. He was on the payroll of the gold exchange, and was purposefully 'editorializing' in such a way as to increase panic purchases of precious metals. That's deceitful. As for the batshit crazy part, just look up his plan for a Utopian Community.....even HE wouldn't qualify to live in his own community.

So folks who bought gold at $1000 and ounce and sold it at

no, but they didn't. They bought gold at inflated prices, paid a commission to do so, and are now stuck with gold that would have to reach $2500/oz or more to have a chance of breaking even. I mean, there are ways to buy into precious metals, but that particular 'exchange' isn't one of them.

No need to apologize, and your analysis is probably not correct. Beck continues to 'shill' gold sellers on his internet news organization, and is not being sued there.. you do the maths. And how does batshit become tasty when you raise it the level of a community organizer at the federal level....
Beck's adversaries took him out of Fox by successfully pressuring his advertisers to drop the show, citing his
I agree Beck is overreaching on his utopian village, if that's what he calls it... maybe 'idyllic' would be a better choice of words. You can certainly make small communities more sustainable, if that's what the people there want..... maybe that's what the merit of that plan - people are volunteering to participate in a village sized experiment.

what math? He owns the site....why would he sue himself?

how do sour grapes appeal to you so?
