unless you are already aware....'we Yankees' pay far more to the government, than we get back in benefits and monies. No so for the deep South, notably Texas, Alabama and Florida.

seriously, Pud....go look it up. For example, we in Delaware, receive back from the Federal Govt about 80 cents for each dollar we pay in taxes and fees into the government. You, in Texas, receive around $1.12. In other words, if we didn't have all these leeching red-states out there(Alaska is the worst, btw), then we could run a surplus. Think about that next time you feel like whining about Federal deficits.....
