Iraq oil contracts

And here i was thinking the US invaded for the oil seems the Russians and the Chinese have done all right for themselves :o

not as well as the Iranians, who apparently have simply occupied a large field.

They attacked not to secure the oil supply, but because Saddam wanted to get paid in € and no more in $.

It is for this very reason that the US are going to attack Iran at some point.

that one, I think, has pretty well be debunked at this point. So long as the Saudis and other Gulf States operate on a dollar basis, what Iraq chose to do was meaningless. Even more so Iran, with a screwed up infrastructure and far less reserves than Iraq.

I don't think it's been debunked at all concerning Iraq. And we're going to see how it turns out concerning Iran.
