If that is true, it makes her death even sadder. A woman's ribs showing should not be a sign of "beauty." Too many un-realistic images of women are perpetuated today.

Ditto, some of our movie/pop star ladies look like concentration camp survivors. Worse still, a generation of young men are growing up with that fake norm as an example.
If Monroe or Russell were in their 20's today, people would call them fat or obese
I'd call them "babes"
I think the style mags have created another casualty.

Turns out that Brittany Murphy was a junkie a few years ago.
Her bed room was a treasure chest of pescription drugs.
Seems that Jackson syndrome got her.
