Was good until they talked about Rommel... this guy's divisions murdered prisoners of war.

True, but I also found Franz Stigler's narrative. He thought of it as "murder"
to shoot the bomber down. But he was aware that the nose guns were operational
and stayed away from them as best he could.

It is obvious from both pilots accounts that they were all done killing for the day.
