It's G.W. Booshy's fault.
He started two needless wars which diverted valuable domestic resources from the mansion building industry.

as I said elsewhere, the reason I post these is to emphasize that the Class Warfare occured decades ago, and we are still in the midst of the victors enjoying the spoils of victory.

Class Warfare has been going on since the beginning of time. It will never go away and if you think you can change it by taxing the shit out of those in the higher classes you need to get a refund on that collage education you have. Hell Slick, you have posted many times informing us you are of a higher class than the rest of us here, are going to willingly give any of that up? The higher class will make sure that they don't slip down and the rest of us don't climb up to close to them. They need that buffer to be sure they have control over us.

DH, I despise the word class, but will freely admit that I am more affluent than many posters here. Yes, to answer your question by stating firmly that I would gladly, for the sake of the greater good for society, pay both higher taxes, and take fewer unneeded tax breaks. That, IMHO, is the true 'Class War' that went on in the 80s and 90s.......more of a revision amongst the well-off around their obligations to the society as a whole. The patrician classes were, up through my childhood, raised to give back to society, and contribute to the good of all. That has gone out the window with most members of that group today....no sense of obligation to maintain economic mobility for those less well off, because, frankly, their continued affluence no longer demands a strong middle class to fuel a domestic economy. Money can be made globally, with no regard to the economic well being of the average American. Thus, many old money types from the younger generations simply don't care anymore.

I am afraid it really is "Liberal Shit"

CNN Money says "U.S. books $117 billion surplus

3:16 pm: Federal coffers were in the black in June thanks to uptick in revenue and decline in spending."

Sequestration is working.
I bet the POTUS/POS takes "credit" for it.
