Airplane parts after 70+ years are going to be pretty well broken up
and corroded into oblivion?
Duraluminum, the high copper aluminum alloy the airframe was
built from corrodes quite easily. I doubt there are more than isolated fragments.
Steel is mostly gone and the magnesium components are dissolved completely.

But again, why do we care about a couple of risk takers that went on
a seemingly suicidal flight ill prepared and for no more reason than to make headlines?

Seems the search has degenerated into the realm of the tinfoil hat
and grassy knoll crowd. Move on.
