fatman, "National Championship" has nothing to do with "NHL"
RD, fatman is Australian, not Merrican, and there is no NHL franchise in Alabama

Ice Hockey is a great sport.
The NHL is a bore.
give me college hockey or Canadian Junior leagues for that matter, anyday. No primadonnas with protection from refs('that's 2 minutes for skating within a yard of Sidney Crosby, twwweeeet!!). Freaking Pansies.

as much as I always admired Gretsky's skills, you are, sadly, correct. Still, much of his career, he was protected the old-fashioned way, by a thuggish winger. I went to school with that fellow, Dave Lumley.
