Who said this ?

"I don't oppose all wars. What I am opposed to is a dumb war. What I am opposed to is a rash war. What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other armchair, weekend warriors in this administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne. What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income, to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression. That's what I'm opposed to. A dumb war. A rash war. A war based not on reason but on passion, not on principle but on politics."

Does anybody know?
Can anybody guess?

actually, I thought I wrote something similar a few years back.........damned guy ripped off my prose!

oh, and I see nothing wrong in what he said.....I do have issues with the current stance regarding Syria. Amazingly, I heard none other than Ari Fleischer(former press sec to Bush the Younger) state that everyone should support Obama, whatever he wants to do, because that is how we project national strength. I could not disagree more, I think the fact that we all step back and debate the pros and cons shows national MATURITY and due process. Of course, the fact that Obama let this happen, rather than plow ahead a la Bush, is part of why I like the guy. He isn't perfect, but he knows how the US OUGHT to start projecting to the rest of the world.

Completely lame attempt at blaming (or in this case using Bush as a comparison) it on Bush.
It's your Fascist two faced master making this fuck up Callmesick.
I will give you credit that you are a good little minion in attempting to
imply that Obama is more rational than Bush...
You used Bush's name twice, funny how you Communists/Fascists seem
to use his name like a cross warding off deamons

Obama is a looser. A rabble rousing piece of ghetto trash in it WAY over his head.

and that's the type of person you wish to lead you? Sorry, but I'll take someone who steps back, two or three times if necessary, and ponders the best course.
