Well no trouble mining they already have a ready made workforce with all the opals they dig out, and as for location its pretty much smake dab in the middle of the country with not much around it hell the Brits did nuclear tests near there in the 50's and i wont be expecting cheap fuel i would love it if our gov would do a venezuela because a decade ago the japs would buy lpg off us and sell domestically for 7 cents a liter the same stuff at a servos here was 50 cents.
