....somehow, on another corner of the Interweb, there was a discussion of NH, and the very low gun death rate, despite pretty liberal gun regulations.
Turns out the factor isn't so much population being more spread out(my claim to Slappy), nor any damn thing to do with responsible gun owners and all. No, it turns out that New Hampshire is in the bottom quartile in the US in number of guns owned per capita. The speculation in the other discussion was around gun nuts moving to NH because of the laws, and whether the death rate would go up.
