Our chicks already won the GOLD !!!!!
I don't suppose the USA mens team would consider at least trying so the game will be worth watching?

big freaking deal......until there is NHL representation, womens hockey is and will be, um, women's hockey. Pud likely watched, though.Reservoir_Dog wrote:Our chicks already won the GOLD !!!!!![]()
been doing fine so far......it seems almost unfair, though. US and Canada have been the two most impressive teams in the tourney, although I give props to the Swedes for toughness with the injuries, and the Fins for beating the Russians on their home turf.I don't suppose the USA mens team would consider at least trying so the game will be worth watching?

posted between 2nd and 3rd period---this is a fabulous game! Canada is far better organized in the US end, both goalies have made killer stops(Price got one low one with the tip of his skate blade, wtf!) Great hockey. End to end runs all game long. Wow!

Re: can you feel the rush, Res?
dunno how other Americans view this, but I'm okay with it. Disappointed, sure, but even you must admit, Res, the performance on both the womens and mens sides reflect exactly HOW FAR U.S. developmental hockey has come in our lifetimes. Think back to your childhood, would it have seemed conceivable that US women would even play hockey? Or, that US men would be a factor in every international tournament? It wouldn't have to me. So, I'm proud of the teams, sorry they fell short, but still proud.
