Frankly, the realist side of me wants civilized democratic governments to try and intercede in Africa's affairs to help them come into the 21st century, but like the middle east......jesus, what a waste of time and money to go full circle with those people.

I have a friend who was in Rwanda. Needless to say those dumbasses don't need any ouside help to be savages. At least not France's.

My friend once told me a story.

Some soldiers were manning a checkpoint at the border of Rwanda to wherever the fuck they had gone to avoid the slaughter. And when the population came back to Rwanda from that border, the soldiers at the checkpoint actually helped themselves with the belongings of the refugees taking whatever they pleased.

A french colonel went to the officer in charge on the checkpoint and asked if it was normal for soldiers to behave that way. The officer then went to some soldiers and bitchslapped them saying something like this:

"Aren't you ashamed to behave like that? It's an officer's privilege!"

However Assad would have a point blaming France. The Libyans too.
