looks like Vlad's big-money handlers have gotten sick of watching their investments tank. I cannot wait for the outpouring of recognition that Obama played the economic pressure card just fine, so far. Not that anyone is out of the woods, but this looks like a step in the right direction. Now, if the Ukrainians themselves can get their shit together.

Putting the Veeps boy on that Ukrainian company's board was a stroke of genius.

Re: hmmmm
Slick I do think you are way too premature with your victory speech. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/20/world ... .html?_r=0
Phase one of Putin's Ukraine take over is complete and uniformed military is no longer needed. Phase two is just getting started

Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.

Re: hmmmm
no 'victory' speech from me, just noting a step in the right direction. Oh, and despite your gloom and doom reports, it seems that the Ukrainian govt is flexing some muscle via the factory workers. As I said, that nation has to sort out where it wishes to head.

"NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen told reporters Monday the military alliance has "not seen any evidence at all that the Russians have started withdrawal of troops from the Ukrainian borders." Quoted from yer link below:
Found a kernal of corn....and was delighted with his discovery...and couldn't wait for the outpouring of recognition, he surely deserved.....

Old Pudfark sez: " More obvious...it's a step in the left direction....as usual...several connotations in that meaning and all of them intended."

You know, Pud. You sure spend a lot of your time thinking about outhouses and stuff that comes out of human bums.
To the point where the word fetish could be used.
