Re: I frackin' told you
YOU told us? I've been predicting that since 2004, on these pages. Now, the downsides of this are becoming evident. For instance, Oklahoma(leading edge of the fracking boom) is now experiencing more earthquakes than California, and Ohio is starting to have significant seismic activity(wastewater dump for PA).

Not to mention the sinkholes.
You dumbasses are going to destroy the planet at some point.

right you are, on the first part. Especially in places like PA with a lot of limestone pockets under the surface.nicolas10 wrote:Not to mention the sinkholes.

The second part, I think, applies to pretty much most of mankind. If you intend to specifically target the US, you are batshit crazy.

That's as evident as three summers ago here.
Back then we had 56 days in a row of plus 100 F
Today, at 1pm....the temp is 70 F
and.... "I frackin' told you"..

Re: I frackin' told you
completely irrelevant article. Why are the states with fracking wastewater wells showing INCREASED seismic events? Not the LIKELIHOOD, not the POSSIBILITY, but Okalahoma now has more earthquakes per year than Californina. MORE. Why?

Go watch the "Wizard of Oz"....carefully. From that you can argue/deduce that Kansas has more tornado activity than Delaware does. Oklahoma has earthquake events all of the time. I have a sister who has lived there for more than twenty years and she/they have no concerns.callmeslick wrote:completely irrelevant article. So, from that could ya conclude...that since Delaware has little to know/no fracking and given there earthquake history...? You're safe. That's a comment I could accept from ya cause it's partially true.
Good Luck....beating the drum.

Re: I frackin' told you
Oklahoma did not APPROACH California in such activity until the last 10 years. What has changed?

Old Pudfark sez: " Earthquakes...the new trendy crisis fer libs. I'd a thought, they'd of combined them, Warming & Quakin and maybe had a pet name fer it....like "Shake'n & Bake "......
