or he wouldn't sign it, right? You might remember that one: Clinton had that in place, which eventually led to a balanced budget and Congressional restraint. Then, Bush got in, a couple of wars started, and they tossed that rule out. And, therein lies the problem: simply passing 'pay as you go' doesn't mean anyone will stick to it, over the long haul.

All I'm seeing is more taxes and more deficit. Hey, weren't you the guy who posted in that thread about the deficit Bush created with his warmongering? Ahh, but Bush was a republican. No need to answer, that was rhetorical.
