A Complete Waste of Space

.....A funny story from the past week. The wife was looking for some sort of small cabinet or such to store
her spices, freeing up an overhead cabinet in the kitchen. She looks around a few stores, and at a local thrift store, encounters a really nice older piece. It is a 3 foot high wooden cabinet, nicely finished with handpainted roosters on the front, that sort of goes with a country look she has cultivated for the kitchen and dining room area. Fine. It's cheap, even better. She's standing in line to pay for the thing when some rather effeminate fellow looks at it and gasps, " Oh, that's just a fabulous piece! I am SO jealous of you....I did my whole kitchen in roosters!"


all I could think of was Ruggie, exclaiming, "he loves the coq!"..........

LOL. The job I'm doing now has a gay interior designer (imagine!) and he's been "supervising" the rest of us heteros to make sure we don't screw up something. I always ingratiate myself with these types as they have a direct line to the homeowner and it makes my job easier. I often use the terms fabulous, magnificent, spectacular, etc. I just barely lisp the s as well. Not enuf to make it obvious but it seems to work subconsciously. This designer was receptive to all my ideas for the areas I'm working in.

And there's no doubt, dude loves the coq.

Nah, I just know how to deal with the homos. Especially when his decisions have a lot of pull. He loves everything I've done and IMHO all he wanted was to be consulted. Cuz I don't think he had a bunch of ideas concerning what I was doing but making him part of the creative process gives him a stake in the finished product and he'll (scuze the pun) be 100% behind me on the finished product.

So many good sigs in this thread I don't know where to begin.
