That was one of the best hockey games I have ever seen.
The Americans gave it their all. They fought tooth and nail. They didn't give an inch.
They played the boards, they took it to the body, the passing was crisp, they knew their zones, the forechecking was textbook, the lines were perfect.
Well played, gentlemen. Well played.

I knew we were cooked in 4 on 4. Your guys are just quicker to the edges of the rink, and were it not for Miller playing a whale of a game, it would've ended quicker. Excellent hockey. Now, for me, it's on to the end of the college hockey season. The NHL bores me, terribly. Go UNH!!

Awesome, I watched the game at the consulate (a colleague's girlfriend works there), wore my canuckistani toque, drank Canadian brew (Molson's normally shit we got much better beer but that was what was available) and watched on a large screen.

The only one mentally disadvantaged is the Nazi loving nuf. In fact, I would go as far as to say you have a definite lack of any grey matter between the ears.
The only thing that kept the Americans in both games was Miller. Canada lost the first game because of Brodeur. Canada replaced their sieve.
