howabout James Webb?

Post by callmeslick »

never one to embrace Hillary Clinton(for those that remember me from here pre-2008), my Dad and I were both talking up James Webb,
especially since Hillary just made herself look VERY beatable, despite the assembled juggernaut. Let's see Slappy badmouth that Democrat.
Plus, he's a VA boy we both endorsed when he ran for Senate. My dad's dream ticket is him at the top, with Biden staying on at Veep, but that
isn't going to happen. I'd like to pair Webb with perhaps Richardson(who would never consider it so long as Hillary is alive in the campaign), or someone else from west of the Industrial East/Mid Atlantic region.

Did not know who he was and after reading some of his writings I would have no problem with him.
Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.

I've tried, for the longest time, to assure folks here that I am from the Moderate Dem camp. James Webb is definitely a moderate, but still holds to basic tenets of the Democratic party. Further, I think it is high time we had a Vietnam Vet as President(really every bit as important as a woman President, and, I feel something that will be significant to a LOT of Americans of our generation). I feel a sense of deja vu right now, as 8 years back I was hoping for SOMEONE other than Hillary Clinton, and here I am again. Worked out last time, so remaining hopeful that Hillary will flame out early enough for others to get traction and steal much of her campaign staff.

Sticking to my guns and not reading RD/Commieshit's crap.
But after seeing Darkhorse's comment I gave mr Webb a look.
I can not slag him, he seems like a good egg.
But he is loyal and dependant on a party of Fascists and Communists.
I bet he is to right wing for the party to consider him.
I will vote against him because I can not trust the Commies, Queers and Fascists that
make up the majority in the Democratic party.

I'd love to hear DH's take on this 'so-called Conservative' and how Slappy makes them all look.
