so a 23% turnout, in a Republican leaning district to fill the seat of a Republican shows WHAT about 2016? Oh, and the losing candidate was NOT some party hot-shot, she was a former state rep from who had lost previously. So what? Please, Slappy, tell us how a 19 year old girl winning an obscure New Hampshire state house seat(trivia-NH legislature is one of the largest legislative bodies in the world) in a Republic district shows anything about a National election, which will see at least 50% turnout, replacing a Democratic held seat in 2016. Watch, the kid who won this will probably lose in the 2016 re-run of the race.

geez, I don't even want to know where you found that, Res.
Anyhow, I think THIS is more the harbinger of where the nation is headed:

conservativsm, as practiced in the US over the past decade or so, just isn't cool anymore. 2016 is going to hammer that point home. Hopefully, with a centrist President, but if it requires Bernie Sanders, so be it.

A centrist President is essential to the political survival of the United States of America. Your political system is crumbling all around you and you desperately need a centrist, non-partisan President who can get the two extremes into the same room and actually listen to each other.
I've been saying for years that America needs a third major political party. You need a right, a left, and a centrist party. That's the only thing that's going to save you poor bastards.
You Merricans need to understand what it's like to have a minority government with no runoff elections. It's actually a good thing! Government becomes forced to do things. They have to get things done! They have to talk to each other and try to get along!
Can you even imagine a sitting President who only won 35% of the votes?
If Merrica continues with the statis quo ... it's doomed. (unless of course Faux "news" disappears from the face of the earth)
America needs a third major political party. A centrist party.
It's your only hope.
