it is a dead-end ticket to senseless violence, and folks are starting to grasp that. Toss in economic policies that benefit about 16 people and screw the rest and I don't see why they have ANY appeal.

hilarious, were it not so sad. France is America's original ally. France enjoys a far more modern electrical/energy grid, superior medical outcomes at lower cost, and has a far more literate population(Nic aside....just kidding, Nic is an example, actually). Write-off? Not really. We can learn from them, and a lot of other nations, frankly. The insular attitude of far too many Americans is holding America back, as we've always been the best at assimilating culture and ideas.

It's simple math to others...you go rent an RV/Caravan for the weekend party, you're to stupid to check the holding tanks (they are full), forty folks arrive and an hour later...they're gone. Leaving you with? France.

Sure, bad stuff goes on, and we can and should attempt to make that stuff less common,but, geez, give the handwringing and fear-mongering a rest. Dude, the most of us are going on with perfectly fine lives, with a decent economy and overall safety in our homes and lives. The sky isn't falling, and you've been predicting that for eons, here. Most folks...including a lot of the French would call their 'islamic invasion'....doom. Their recent horrendous loss of life there...the 'draconian' measures taken since and applied indefinitely to secure the 'illusion' of safety...that cannot exist with terrorists....and never has? That's not predicting doom, it is doom.

America, comparatively, is a 'utopia'....until idiots like you, turn us into France. Doom, again....foretold.
