Bernie Sanders Spent $9 Per Vote in New York, Donald Trump Spent 13 Cents
Self-identifying socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16% spent $9 per vote in the New York Democratic primary, while Republican businessman Donald Trump only spent 13 cents per vote, according to the New York Post.

Trump shelled out roughly $67,000 on radio campaign advertisements in the Empire state, while Sanders spent more than $6.8 million on radio and television advertisements.

Hillary Clinton, who defeated Sanders in New York, spent roughly $3.8 million on advertisements, averaging about $3.82 per vote.

Reporter Lisa Mascaro of the Tribune news service called it “the most sizable shifts of partisan allegiance ever in Pennsylvania.”
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is predicted to benefit from the shift on Tuesday when Pennsylvania voters head to the polls.
Some of the voters that switched said they are fed up with the Democrat Party’s political correctness and that the party no longer speaks for them.
