Sitting here watching the circus that the American political system has become makes me sick. The hatred between the right and left is so bad that the right will elect a wind bag with the political savvy of a bag of rocks and the left will elect a lying crook that looks out for herself and how much she can get. As much as I disagree with the politics of Sanders I was hoping he would take the lead, at least he is somewhat “normal”.
Maybe at the conventions both parties will kick the shitbags to the curb and bring out candidates that are leaders and can repair the mess that was made by the last batch of shitbags. I know I am dreaming, but it would be better than the nightmare we are currently faced with now.

the only thing you'll likely see at the conventions is platform items for the Dems to ensure that the focus on certain of Bernies goals stays on, primarily around campaign finance reform and banking reform. The GOP will, by that point, be full of hand wringing and regret, but they have little choice but to ride it out and try to keep the damage to a minimum(I suspect they'll fail).
