substitute 'The Beach" for "Chicago" and this would resemble a road trip with me, should you ever visit:

Hey Slick, I forgot to tell you but Chipz and I are planning to honeymoon at your place in Delaware.
I need you to have the refrigerator and bar nicely stocked for the 27th.
Lots of fresh seafood and fresh veggies. If Valencia onions are in season down there lay in a big bag of them.
Also, I like to grind my own coffee beans so you'll need to get a nice amount of good quality double roasted Columbian beans.
As for the bar ... Chipz likes Cabernet Sauvignon. [but make sure it's low tannin]
American beer sucks, so I'll bring my own supply.
And of course, make sure there's a bottle or two of this laying around ...
I'll give you a call when we're done trashing the place.

You failed to note that Fats has certain 'carnal rites/rights'.

RD, come on to the house in Delaware(the one where the three grandkids run loose most of the time). No one would be able to tell if or when you and Chipz trashed much of anything, from the usual debris. Seafood is in prime season, except for oysters(no go for them until September), local veggies are getting numerous. Not sure about Valencia onions, and you can borrow my cheap grinders for the beans, although I'd suggest the Guatamalan Highlands beans from the shop over in Greenville. Go with Colombian, if you wish. Might wish to upgrade the whiskey to a proper Bourbon, Old Fitz or maybe one of the aged Woodford Reserve varieties. None of that Canadian crap in my home. You're right about the beer, of course, so bring extra and stack a couple cases in the garage for me during clean-up. You all can also dip into the Sour Diesel if you wish, but don't be touching the Blue Moonshine. That should cover it.

hey, RD, are you all going to re-attempt last year's Redskin trip debacle? If so, I have to get some cheap shades for Chipz during the ride to the Shore.

Now that you mention it, we are.
The whole passport thing was a shit storm but everything should be okey dokey now.
Last years trip was a bust but as it turned out that was the week your Father passed away, so not receiving strangers from Canada into your home at that time was probably a good thing.
The Skins have a shitty home schedule this year.
Sept. 18 vs Dallas ..... Mmmmm maybe.
Oct. 2 vs Cleveland .... Watching RGIII play against the Skins, that would be interesting.
Oct. 16 vs Philly .... I'm kind of liking that one.
Nov. 13 vs Vikings .... Meh.
Nov. 20 vs Green Bay .... OH BABY! I may make that trip with or without Chipz!
When is the seafood at it's best? That's very important. That could be a game changer!
As far as the sunglasses go ... as part of our wedding photos we are going to recreate the "Reservoir Dogs" movie poster. So we have lots of Ray Ban Wayfarers on hand!

well, it depends on WHICH seafood you really wish to see. Later in year is good for oysters, tuna. Earlier in the fall would be better for blue crabs, softshell crabs, scallops, shrimp and flounder. Still a ton of packed crabmeat the way the population of them looks now, should be around all winter.
May and November are best for rockfish(striped bass) and fall is good for red drum and bluefish. All of these are more for the true fish lover. Hope this helps.

also, if I see things correctly, Nov 20 is the weekend before Thanksgiving and I DEFINITELY will be at the shore house. Big surf fishing tourney that weekend, so I'm there from Thursday until Monday. Lots of fresh seafood around. Very fresh, world famous, Chincoteague Salt Oysters. Just my two cents.

while that sounds fun, Fats, you would miss my coast by a couple thousand miles. Good music choice! Also, everyone should see Vegas once....and leave after a short visit, IMHO.
