I went to see a doctor got a referral to radiology had an xray total cost in Australia $0, if it was in the USA cost would have been $234,989 Aussie full of win Mind you i am getting 2 wisdom teeth out tomorrow that will set me back 1200 c'est la vie

Last year I had a bit of an abdominal malfunction that put me in the hospital for 3 days.
Final cost ... $0.00

I'm still paying off my $2000 deductable for the year.

what Pud leaves out is that the loss is mainly due to economic upturn taking people off public programs and onto employer plans, coupled with the steady aging of the populace sending folks to Medicare. Sorry to mess up his narrative with facts, but thems the facts.
