for years, the loony right has told us the reason the 2nd Amendment dictates that we all be able to buy our own little killing machines was because the founders envisioned us being able to confront an oppressive government. Well, this is what it looks like, because my view of oppressive is not going to be the same as someone elses, thus the real problem. The cops ARE the public face of government, so if you're wanting to overthrow your government, what you REALLY mean is that you want to be able to kill some cops. Period.
