note from a convention

....with apologies for typos, as I've been working off a phone and tablet all week, and my eyes and fingers suffer:
1. whoever organized the daily plan is brilliant. Kept Hillary from being outshone by a bunch of world class speakers, gave the Bernie bots their day.....some of those people have acted like the young, naive types they are this week.
2. Between Biden and Bloomberg, they completely disemboweled any semblance of Trumps legitimacy
3. Talent comparison of the two parties is as stark as the platforms
4. I was made aware, slowly, of how much even I have been viewing Ms Clinton in the light of 30 years of smear campaigns, and now realize she is a well-intended policy wonk who has been trying to do good for 50 years.
5. Tim Kaine is every bit as wonderful as my late Dad found him to be.
Obama's speech was a gem, and the entirety of last night was the best imaginable appeal to both indies and disaffected GOP voters. As I suspected, and hoped with the Kaine pick, they are looking for a massacre of Trump. I have far more hope now they might get it. This election has become a referendum over authoritarian rule by one man. As one speaker noted......we don't do rulers in the US, this nation is ruled by all of us, ideally.
