Nothing new, I was thrown out of an English class by Mr. Appelyard in 1975 because
I was a known gun owner. Malden High School, Malden Mass.
Mr. Appelyard quickly purged his classes of any potential right wing students.
Yep, he got away with it.
Oh, such horror, I owned guns since I was 12 years old.

You'd be surprised how many of us Dems own guns and shit responsibly. Don't take John Kerry as a poster boy for a diverse party.

Come on out to some REAL snake country. I used to have rattlers on my front porch. No big deal, just go out the back door, pick up the hoe and chop 'em up. Cheaper and a lot easier on the ears. I did fuck up one time and shoot a 5 footer in my shop one afternoon with an 38-40 SAA. Took a few hours to get my hearing back...... Cleaned all the old mud dauber nests off the ceiling from the muzzle blast. Made a mess of the snake and put a hole in the back wall to boot. The shop had a dirt floor and the fucking snake found the only buried brick to roost on. After that .40 cal slug cut him into three pieces it splattered off that brick and punched a hole in the tin.

FYI a 38-40 has a bullet diameter of .401. Figure that one out, it's beyond me.
