American aotomobile brands that went extinct since I was bor

Post by HappyHappy »

Since I was born many brands have passed on.
These are the big names. Some were divisions
of the "big three".

Crosley
Hudson
Packard
Studebaker
Desoto
Kaiser (more famous for building Liberty ships, built Jeep until selling to AMC in 1970)
Rambler (AMC)
Plymouth
Oldsmobile
Pontiac
Saturn
Hummer
Mecury

Some merged later to go under as in the case of Hudson and Rambler merging to form AMC
Packard and Studebaker merged only to fail later, about 1964. Avanti was the only remaining
Studebaker design that survived only to die in the late 1970's.

Olds, Pontiac, Saturn and Hummer are all under the GM banner.
Plymouth and Desoto are Chrysler.
Now it's time for the Death of a Ford brand, Mecury is dead this year.

I don't know if you read the business news(hell, I don't know if you read with any comprehension), but the chances of Ford going anywhere soon are nil. They are, economically, by far the most successful US manufacturer.

Ford is currently doing well, but GM is the biggest in the US and is making money at last report.
Mercury is deceased, dead.

I failed to mention Nash. Rambler was a Nash product and the Nash name was
dropped with the AMC merger.

Callmesick, you lack intelligence. Perhaps that is why you resort to insult so darn quickly.
Fact is you are little more than a sub human piece of shit in my eyes.
Yes, I have at least as much contempt for you as any democrat, perhaps more.
