here's your economic reality....
....and running for a dictator is NOT going to affect this, past maybe killing any chance of the US not being second-world status behind India and China.

Re: here's your economic reality....
that sign is correct by 2025 at the latest. NONE of those jobs past extreme specialist work will be in the least needed, unless you want to weld for $5 per hour, or more likely paid piecework. You don't get it, now. You will, and it isn't some 'liberal' thing. The class war is over. The investors won.

I know EXACTLY what they make, NOW. That will be a non-existant job save speciality work in 5, 10 years at the most. Or, it will drop in value to where you work the job for peanuts. Get it NOW, Pud?

There's nothing to get from yer end Slick...
I've had a smart phone for more'n ten years....
Old Pudfark sez: " Slick's source of information is his 'wild' imagination/exaggeration...otherwise, he'd link it.... "

you've never had a smart phrase that wasn't copied from someone smart. You illustrate Asimov, perfectly:

Re: here's your economic reality....
in between, Pud, I give you business journal references, links to other expertise, and my actual informed opinion on where the reality is headed. I've been doing so, and holding to the same trajectory on CWOS since 2002. The only real change in my narrative around economic realities in the US is a recalculation of the speed, and thus, urgency of the situation. Like most laymen, and even most investors, I have trouble grasping how truly fast this next revolution in production is going to occur. Where I once thought about a full generation of change, my geek pals assure me will be a sea change over a ten or twelve year span at most, and it has STARTED already. Ought to be sobering to every last one of you, here on CWOS. Ought to be worth REAL discussion, not just here, but with your family, your neighbors, your elected officials. This shit isn't some sort of 'liberal fantasy', it isn't some sort of 'fake news', it's real, it's global and thus inescapable. How do you plan on handling it? Pud, DH, Res, anyone??
