One of the noted "mental midgets" here says we can't afford to enforce the old immigration laws....We need new laws that we can afford. The absurdity of that message is multi-fold.

Ok, now i get it....Most folks who live in the southern border states....would agree, that we are being invaded...and that our military should be here and not over there....I would be one of them. As far as the cost difference....it would be huge...Right now, some say we can't afford a bus ticket home for those little rascals....I say, recall our troops...and send the little miscreants home "First Class on Taca Airlines"....(one way ticket, of course)

Never fear, Pud. I've put the nephew on yard duty up here in PA, and some native Virginian is cutting the grass down there. As much as I've wanted to get a green card for Fatman and provide him employment, I have the pool boy job to myself. Everyone else around here just swims in the thing. At least they don't pee in it(or worse).

What does that 113 Billion represent? Total expenditures by State, Local and Federal governmental agencies to the education, healthcare, criminal justice and other requirements incurred by Illegal Aliens. They admit that some of the numbers that add up to that are estimated, to their credit. It's a very good report, and illustrative of how issues with complexity get so easily turned into sound bites. Of course, no one bothered to subtract from the expenditure column, the income from taxes and fees paid(remember, with an illegal SS card, your employer is still paying the Feds) for public services(from transportation and parking fees, gasoline taxes, on and on), the secondary income from money spent in American businesses. Let's face it, in some counties nationwide, that Walmart wouldn't be in business for long, with all those employees, if the illegals disappeared. In other words, this number isn't the net cost, it's just the money spent out. As long as everyone gets that, it's a very informative report, detailing a multitude of cost centers most people don't consider. Read the PDF, if you have time.
