here's the whole story. Ford is in trouble. Not selling a lot of cars. They have to utilize the real estate they own and cannot AFFORD to set up a Mexican plant. Note a couple things, should you look up a real article about the Ford moves. First, as noted in the Forbes analysis: "The second largest U.S. automaker said it would build new electric, hybrid and autonomous vehicles at the Michigan plant. Thus, see the future before you.
Second, and most important, not one word about the jobs that would be created by the 700 million dollar investment. Why? Because they're probably sinking most of the money into retooling the line to state of the art robotics.

so, Pud, the NEW reality is essentially the same as the Obama recovery. Production staying in, or even coming back to, America. No really significant number of new jobs, because the future is here. The investors will make out fine, though.

Ford to Build in America, Cancel Mexico Expansion Plans as ‘Vote of Confidence’ in Donald Trump

CEO Mark Fields announced on Tuesday.

"Fields said his company’s decision to create jobs in America rather than in Mexico is a “vote of confidence” in Trump’s incoming administration and the pro-business environment it will create."
